Meet the Staff
Tommy and Melissa run Redbird Farm & Sanctuary with a lot of love and even more help from their four-legged (and feathered!) staff.
We’re home to over 200 rescued animals, but here are just a few of our fan favorites who love the spotlight.
Humans in Charge (Sort of)

Melissa Kreisler
Part-time farmer, full-time animal advocate. Melissa keeps the sanctuary running, from morning feedings to late-night bottle babies. If there’s a critter in need, she’s already on her way.

Tommy Kreisler
If it breaks, Tommy can fix it — fences, feeders, tractors, you name it. Usually with a goat “helping,” whether he wants it or not.
The Real Bosses

Elsa, Luna, Marley, Fiona, Ralphie & Flower – The Donkey Department
The family herd. Fiona (mom) and Ralphie (dad) keep everyone in line — most of the time. Flower, born this summer, has main character energy and specializes in “zoomies.”

Salvy – The Scene-Stealing Sheep
Flower’s main rival for attention. Loves Wheat Thins. Not afraid to demand pets on his schedule.

Penny & Alice – Partners in Crime
Two wild goats who think they’re dogs. If trouble’s brewing, they’re in the middle of it.

Diamond – The Trash Panda in Disguise
Known for rummaging through trash and occasionally wearing it — bag on head and all.

The Ducks – Drama Department
Feathered divas of the farm — always quacking, flapping, and keeping everyone entertained.

Bunny – Security Patrol
Farm watchdog and professional digger. Definitely not as innocent as she looks.

Biscuit – Resident Sweetheart
Purrs, cuddles, repeat. The coziest staff member by far.

Whiskey – Highland Cow Extraordinaire
A walking shag carpet with a calm, majestic vibe.

Bill – The Bun Boss
One of six bunnies, but insists he’s the important one.

Scout – Pony with a Plan
Always knows where the treats are. Always.

The Goose – Pig Pen Protection Services
The pigs are sweet — the goose is very serious about keeping them that way.

The Turkeys – Sweet & Spicy
One minute they’re charming, the next they’re side-eyeing you. Keeps things interesting.
